    transmediale 04: international media art festival berlin (31.01.04 - 04.02.04)
    Contents:

    Conference: The conference is dedicated to exploring current utopias in fields such as art, design, architecture, social and poltical philosophy, biotechnology and mobile communication.

    Exhibition: The exhibition programme includes Fly Utopia! exhibition, and screen-based works and screening from the Image competition at the video-on-demand stations.

    Screenings: The screening programme presents both, the competiton submissions and works which deals with Fly Utopia! in various ways.

    Award: The transmediale awards are presented in three categories: Image, Software Art and Interaction. this year, the transmediale also presents the Werkleitz Award.
