Online art magazine on contemporary art between Basel, Freiburg and Strasbourg

In collaboration with two partners, artforum3 in Freiburg (G) und RARweb in Strasbourg (F), [plug.in] is launching a new art magazine on the internet, covering contemporary visual and media art. This new platform is called www.regioartline.org.
The trinational editors in France, Germany and Switzerland will feature hints at and reviews of the most inciting and controversial exhibitions and projects, performances, lectures and new publications in the region. Portraits and interviews will focus on the players in the art field. The editors will also comment on the tribulations of cultural policy.

The magazine is offered free of cost and is supported generously by the European Union, the Swiss government, the counties of Basel and Baselland. Regioartline is crossing borders, initiates reflection and discourse and shall gather attention to digital art by a wider public. It will profit of the Web's advantages by linking more thorough information and using moving imagery and sound. This will further the advancement of online journalism with a strong profile.

[plug.in] invests into this project as one of three equal partners and shares its working space with responsible editor Annina Zimmermann.
